Delonghi Dedica Black Friday

A perfect version of the traditional bar pump machine, the Dedica aims to incorporate all that is amazing about this kind of coffee maker, but with few extra specs and in a little, more worktop-friendly plan.

It is almost half the width of most pump-driven machines yet still manages to shoehorn in a best-sized cup warmer on top and a sweet water tank at the back.

Features that would generally be at the front, such as the steam wand’s control, have been swivelled around to the side.

The option keys for picking single or twin espresso and steam – which are typically found on the front panel, have been elevated to the chrome strip around the top, while the power key is discreetly hidden along with the base trim at the side.

This promotes the sleek lines and lowest look of the machine while still maintaining an expert style configuration.

The process begins with you picking either the one or twin filter or the ESE filter – each is helpfully embossed on the underside to stop mix-ups – and then inserting it into the holder, which is packed with ground coffee and tamped down until it is level using the separate presser, unless you have an ESE capsule, definitely.

Pick ground coffee, and it is difficult not to spill it, while if you favour less mess, capsules are the way to go.

Getting the filters in and out of the holder is tricky, as the fitting is strong, and it is wise to make sure fingers are well out of the way.

The filter holder is then inserted and twisted into the machine – again, the fitting is snug and needs a pretty effort to secure it.

My name is Logan, and Italian Coffee Lover, deeply in love with Espresso and Cappuccino. I can't live without the smell of coffee in the morning :) In short, I love coffee. I started this website to talk about coffee, coffee beans, coffee grinders, and the Italian Coffee Maker. Italian Coffee Makers is a one-stop destination for all things related to the best Italian Coffee Lover, guides, tips and best product reviews that are tested by the team. Each of the espresso machines and coffee makers is rigorously tested to ensure it meets the standards of excellence. It’s only my opinion of course, but I have had some of the best (and worst) coffee from around the world. I can tell you for sure that the Italians take coffee seriously. It is more than a casual drink or quick start for the day…it is part of the national identity. It should be no surprise that the Italian coffee maker produces some of the best coffee you could hope to drink.
