Firstly, are they capsules or pods? Coffee pods are famous as coffee pods and are made from a material like a teabag.

The most generally used coffee pad is Easy serving espresso and Krups coffee pods.

A pod is more synonymous with coffee capsules. They are made from plastic or aluminum were popularized by Nespresso.

Many different brands now produce coffee capsules/pods, and many of them have distinct designs that work on other machines.

The most general design of pod is the Nespresso original or classic pod. These come in different sizes. Many 3rd party producers are almost in the market.

These pods are barcoded, which means other produces cannot generate compatible pods that will work on this machine.

There is an extensive range of other brands that produce Nespresso compatible pods. The two best ones are LOR and Vittoria.

Anyway, both of these brands have their machines. Although Vittoria produces Nespresso compatible pods, they also have their pod design and brand Espressotoria.

These pods are different from the Nespresso pods they generate and only work in their Espressotoria machine.

LOR generates the Nespresso original, compatible pods, and it has recently released a machine that jobs with the Nespresso original shape and a more extensive LOR design.

The Map or Caffitaly style of the pod is highly similar to the Aldis Expressi system, which uses K-fee pods.

K-fee and caffitaly pods are generally interchangeable. Anyway, there is sometimes a difference depending on which produces them. K-fee and Caffitaly compatible pods work on both systems. Another brand that has moved into coffee pods is Nescafe and Krups.

They have the Nescafe Dolce Gusto style of the pod, which works on their extensive range of machines.

LOGAN DONOVAN Café Royal Lungo for Nespresso
My name is Logan, and Italian Coffee Lover, deeply in love with Espresso and Cappuccino. I can't live without the smell of coffee in the morning :) In short, I love coffee. I started this website to talk about coffee, coffee beans, coffee grinders, and the Italian Coffee Maker. Italian Coffee Makers is a one-stop destination for all things related to the best Italian Coffee Lover, guides, tips and best product reviews that are tested by the team. Each of the espresso machines and coffee makers is rigorously tested to ensure it meets the standards of excellence. It’s only my opinion of course, but I have had some of the best (and worst) coffee from around the world. I can tell you for sure that the Italians take coffee seriously. It is more than a casual drink or quick start for the day…it is part of the national identity. It should be no surprise that the Italian coffee maker produces some of the best coffee you could hope to drink.
